While Gale of Darkness does look better than it’s predecessor (which is to be expected) I never felt it improved too much on the one part of the style that irked me the most: The people. The humans have odd face shapes, some odd body shapes, and some just looked like pokemon pretending to be people. I overall didn’t like looking at the people, and being a person, it sometimes irked me on Colleseum. I prefer the style in Battle Revolution, when they just copied the style of the show and sugimori art. At least for 3D it works. My favorite look to a game was Pokemon Trozei, which couldn’t have been farther from the original.
